The Lincoln Soil and Water
Conservation District is a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota
established to carry out a program for the conservation, use and
development of soil, water and related resources.
The Lincoln Soil and Water
Conservation District (SWCD) was organized July 3, 1944, and is governed
by a five member Board of Supervisors, who are elected officials, are
nominated by voters in the entire county and serve 4-year terms. The board
sets policy, hires employees, and is responsible to see that the
operations of the district run effectively and according to law and rule. |
