Auditor for the position of a full time ďDeputy Assessor/GIS
Purpose of Position: Duties include, but are not limited
to: application of the I-Series computer system, assist county
assessor in administering the property tax functions, physically
inspect and measure residential and commercial properties,
participate in county assessing, maintain and implement programs
related to the development and operation of the department for
the benefit of the county and performing additional tasks as
assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) or related field and two yearís of
experience preferred. Must be certified Minnesota Assessor (CMA)
or obtained within two years and must be able to attain
Accredited Minnesota Assessor (AMA) status within six year of
hire. Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; add
and subtract; multiply and divide totals; determine percentages
and ratios, means and medians. Also requires the ability to read
and prepare a variety of records, forms and correspondence.

County Highway Engineer
Open until filled
Must be a Registered Highway or Civil Engineer, registered under
the laws of the State of Minnesota.
The person employed will be responsible for the supervision of
all employees in the highway department including maintenance,
shop, engineering staff and accounting. The engineer shall
plan, assign and review all work and establish priorities and
develop and monitor the department budget. The engineer shall
review and/or prepare all surveys, estimates, plans and
specifications, which the board may require. Management and
administrative ability will be required as well as the ability
to work and cooperate with the public. Good oral and
communication skills will be a necessity.
Starting at $85,000.00 annually, based on
qualifications and experience.
